The Microsoft Dynamics GP Functional Lead / Project Manager plans, manages, staffs and delivers Dynamics GP implementations, extensions and upgrades, including requirements, design, installation, support and documentation needed for the installation, integration and administration of Microsoft Dynamics GP. Reports to regional practice lead.
Required Skills:
This individual will have five to ten years Microsoft Dynamics GP project management, client management, and functional leadership roles, including hands-on design, configuration, training, apps. administration, database administration, and support. Must have managed at least five successful implementations or major upgrades with a consultant project team of at least five functional and technical resources. The successful candidate will have the following technical skills: Microsoft Dynamics GP project management skills including planning, staffing, budgeting, tracking, risk identification, issue resolution and communications at all client levels.
- Functional capabilities to design, configure and implement all major Dynamics GP process flows: financials, procurement, HRMS/payroll, order management, shipping, inventory, fixed assets, discrete manufacturing.
- Technical capabilities include basic SQL scripts, database administration, etc.
Experience Required:
- Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communications skills, meeting etiquette, organization and attention to detailed requirements.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project.
- Excellent marketing, sales, proposal, SOW development and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 75%
