Work with enterprise systems and technologies

Responsibilities:
• Work under supervision to perform operational-level programming and systems analysis functions for routine application systems or for portions of moderately complex or complex systems.
• Assist with design, analysis, maintenance, documentation, and testing of software.
• Code, debug, test, and document routine application programs.
• Install and test routine software packages.
• Assist users with procedural or minor technical problems.
• Advise or train users regarding the technical aspects and use of standard software packages.
• Assist in maintaining program libraries, users' manuals, or technical documentation.
Qualifications:
The position requires a BS in computer science or related studies, or equivalent programming skills. The qualified candidate is knowledgeable in Linux based operating systems, Java, Postgres or other SQL database systems, and web technologies which may include CSS, Ruby on Rails, Flex, SWT, JFace, IceFace, Ajax, Rich Client experience. This detail oriented individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in one or more of the following areas a plus: Automotive or transportation systems; Inventory management systems; financial systems; EDI systems.
