JOB DETAILS for Solicitation #53709WCM01 TITLE: Developer Analyst
DSHS IT requires the services of this worker who shall perform, as an Accessibility subject matter expert, the duties of remediating, testing, and reporting the status / metrics of the accessibility-remediated web pages with emphasis on web forms. The worker's skills must include experience with HTML, XHTML, ASP, and Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.). The worker will also mentor the DSHS developers in their remediation, testing, and reporting tasks.
Other Special Requirements:
Workers may be accessing sensitive or confidential data; must be able to pass a background check.
Minimum Requirements:
8 Web applications analysis, development, testing, and deployment
5 Accessible Web applications analysis, development/remediation, testing, and deployment
5 HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS
4 Experience with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility
4 TAC, Chapter 206, and Title 1 TAC, Chapter 213, Electronic and Information Resources
4 Microsoft Office, Adobe products
2 Dreamweaver
Preferences:
3 Active use of an enterprise Web Content Management software
TERM OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start approximately November 10, 2008 and continue through August 31, 2009. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 1460 hours. This service may be amended, renewed and/or extended providing both parties agree in writing to do so.
HOURS AND LOCATION
A. Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the DSHS. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
B. The primary work location(s) will be at the DSHS facility located at 1100 W. 49th Street, Austin, Texas.
