This position entails the following job responsibilities:
• Review project requirements to define programming specifications and develop project documentation and operating guidelines; Interact with application users and requirement personnel;
• Collect and analyze requirements, designing application architecture and preparing specification documents;
• Develop new systems to improve production of work flow;
• Use of modeling tools to document/present the analysis, design and architecture of the applications.
• Convert the logical design to define programming objects and interfaces to code;
• Provide technical support of existing application, review code, modify/fix code using Java technologies
• Develop, implement, and maintain web-based programs and applications for complex information systems; Use of Object Oriented technologies such as Java to build applications;
• Develop applications using Java, J2EE, HTML, XML, EJB, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, SOAP and Web Services;
• Utilizing web servers such as Apache Tomcat and Application servers such as BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere or Oracle App Server;
• Use of enterprise databases such as Oracle and SQL Server to develop database driven applications; Design databases & modeling using Erwin
• Use of version control software such as CVS or Subversion;
• Use of defect tracking software such as Bugzilla to log defects;
• Report, analyze and document test results to ensure conformity with the business needs and requirements and recommend improvements to data quality and testing procedures; and facilitate defect tracking and problem determination throughout the software development cycle.
Position may require you to relocate and/or Travel anywhere in the USA.
