Design, develop and implement enterprise class database architecture and solutions (logical and physical database designs, create data models, create tables, performance tuning, etc.). Monitor and optimize physical data storage for database solutions.Ensures the availability of assigned databases to meet requirements during business hours, in some cases 7x24 support.Provide optimization and performance tuning for all database designs.Design, develop and implement backup and recovery solutions.Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and its accompanying software.Provide technical leadership to the team in all aspects of database design, structure and usage.Partner with application development staff to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.

Skills Required:
· Enterprise class database administration experience required: Oracle, SQL, DB2, MySQL (including disaster recovery, real-time replication and performance tuning). · Comprehensive knowledge of data modeling and architecture concepts with hands on experience.· Experience in client server and service-oriented architecture.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 4-6 years of database administration experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
