Required
3+ years Java server-side development experience
Strong technical background in Java, including a firm understanding of threading & concurrency
Strong OO programming skills are required including knowledge and experience with OO design principles and design patterns
Solid design, coding, testing & debugging skills
Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle preferred)
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Desired
Experience with Tomcat & Spring Framework highly desirable
Experience with messaging oriented middleware (e.g. Tibco's RV, JMS)
ClearCase, SubVersion or equivalent source code management experience
Development and application integration in both UNIX and Windows platform (development can be on the Windows platform but all deployments are in Solaris)
Knowledge of Perl
Background in financial trading applications would be beneficial
