Software Design Engineer in Test
SQL, Web, UI, C#
Overview:
This team is testing the User Interface, Performance and Functionality of features between different levels of operating systems (ex: if the OS premium has this feature and OS basic does not, what happens if a premium user sends a file with this feature to a basic user? How does it work together?) This position will also be involved in the test cycle for the new OS.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design and implement test plans and test cases relating to feature functionality and UI.
* Perform manual testing procedures on these specifications while assisting in the creation of automated testing procedures.
* Track bug cases and report on progress.
* Act as a consultant/department liaison to teams that own other features.
* Pull data from a SQL database and create an internal web site to distribute reports to the Test Managers.
* Will also share some responsibilities with writing and executing C# test cases for the new operating system.
Required Skills for this Software Design Engineer in Test include:
* Ability to pull data from a SQL database and create an internal web site to distribute reports to the Test Managers.
* They need a candidate with solid coding skills to join the team and create reports of bugs and status progress.
* SQL and Web development experience is key.
* Writing and executing C# test cases for the new Windows operating system.
