Software Design Engineer - SQL, TSQL
This team is part of Our Client's cost per click ad network database team and has probably the largest SQL database in the world. This team owns the notifications system where all the customer communications are persisted and generated such as email notifications, API notifications and UI alerts.
The Software Design Engineer will be assigned with specific work items for releases, mostly SQL tasks but sometimes C#, XSLT or others. The work items are not specific but are mostly short and achievable in a few hours and should not be more than a couple of days. For one to be successful in this group, they expect great SQL technical strengths, creativeness and collaborations. This team is extremely busy at the end of the releases and working over the weekend is rare, but can occur (several times a year). A good work life balance is still possible if the Software Design Engineer can proactively complete tasks and resolve issues early on.
