Our direct client is currently in need for a seasoned Actuate Administrator onsite for an initial 6 month contract in the Sacramento, California region. You will be responsible for overall administration and should have a thorough understanding of application architecture and networks for trouble-shooting. You should also have in-depth experience surrounding security and LDAP.
Duties:
Application Upgrade
. Identify upgrade requirements, resources and timelines
. Recompile, upgrade and migrate ROXs, IDAPI codes, Active Portal
customization, Batch drivers, SSO including upgrading legacy applications.
. Training and documentation.
Encyclopedia Upgrade and Migration
. Identify workable approaches, by application or whole encyclopedia.
. Use acexport, acfconvert and acimport OR acupgrade or in place
upgrade
. Migrate users, roles and privileges.
. Back up and Recovery, Cleanup and encyclopedia verification.
Architect Encyclopedia Security
. Design and implement Security matrix for all applications
. Architect and implement users, roles, user groups and application
partition
. Implement role based, LDAP and clear trust integrated security
. Implement security management and utilization monitoring framework
Install and Configure Report Server Management and Monitoring System (usage and error logging, users and roles maintenance for SOX compliance) Implement Best Practices for Administration and New Application Security implementation.
