We are seeking an (INTERNAL) ARCHITECT II -ICT (CS) - CTMS PRODUCT DEVELOPER (EXTERNAL) PRODUCT DEVELOPER - .NET SQL for our strategic team. This position can be home based (Virtual - Home Office Based) With a preference for the Northeast USA.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a CTMS Product Developer you will assist in the ongoing development, support and integration of the CTMS product to to used in a variety of web and desktop based environemtns using .Net, ASP, VB, C# and SQL Server. You will perform requirements gathering. Provide new development requirements to team. Design, plan new development in .Net (ASP/VB). Maintain current development in .Net. Migrate current development to new platforms. Manage/build/design SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2000/2005). In addition you will also:
o Incorporate customer requirements to current generic solution
o Troubleshoot IIS permissions and security issues
o Willingness to adopt and test new technologies
o Monitor CTMS Inbox and direct or complete tasks accordingly
o Direct user training and hands-on support calls
o Create reports in CTMS
o Monitor scheduled tasks in SQL Server and web server and escalate if needed
o Document CTMS processes, manage CTMS sales documentation. Quality Assure new and current implementations
o Maintain and update CTMS sales web site
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
As a CTMS Product Developer, the position requires strong analytical and developer skills using the technologies for maintaining and enhancing a web based application.
o 5+ years in the IT field with 3+ years demonstrated experience with:
- .Net development (ASP/VB/C#);
- SQL Server 2000/2005;
- T-SQL, DTS and SSIS;
- Microsoft Visio;
- HTML/Javascript;
- XSLT/XML;
- Windows Server 2003/IIS 6+;
- Microsoft Office/Adobe Pro;
o Understand and comfortable working with project timelines / deadlines.
o Requires the ability to work on multiple assignments for several clients running simultaneously.
o Able to communicate clearly with peers as well as management.
o Self-driven and resourceful problem solver able to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
o Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
o The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
o Excellent communication, technical writing, meeting facilitation and presentation skills...
o Ability to have periodic travel around 25% to support our team and clients.
DESIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
o BS / MS in Computer Science Information Sciences is preferred.
o ITIL and Project Management skills desired but not required.
