Application Developer
A growing and dominant Tri-state organization is seeking an experienced IT professional to join a team of top software developers/architects. This individual will be responsible for development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of custom applications for the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work within the team and collaborate with cross-functional users to understand requirements, priorities, strategic goals, and objectives.
• Ability to program in .NET environment including C# and ASP.Net, XML, and knowledge of database development on SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Construct applications including analysis, design, programming, testing, and maintenance.
• Provide ongoing support of applications and application upgrades.
• Development of custom reports to support business functions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2 - 3 years development experience using .NET technologies including C# and VBA.
• Additional experience/exposure with Visual Studio 2005, ADO.NET, and client/server applications.
• Candidate must have hands-on development experience with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• 1+ year report writing preferred (e.g. Crystal Reports or SQL reporting services).
• Experience with one or more of the following: Visual Basic, HTML, ASP, and SQL Server.
• Experience/exposure with MS Sharepoint a plus.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Bachelors degree (computer science degree required)
