We are currently seeking an exceptionally bright, motivated, resourceful individual to take on an ETL Architect role with our organization.
General Responsibilities:
• Will be responsible for the overall success of the Data Warehouse architecture
• Will design complex Business Intelligence solutions
• Review/analyze existing ETL design solutions; identify issues and provide new design solutions
• Lead/Guide Ab Initio, Informatica, Data Stage, or Teradata ETL development team in designing, developing and documenting ETL solutions
• Define key business drivers for the Data Warehouse initiative & deliver a project scope
• Define technical requirements, technical & data architectures for data warehouse
• Design & direct the ETL process, including data quality & testing
• Develop potential business clients
• Perform other tasks that support the success and growth of the firm
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area of study
• 5-7 years of experience in Data Warehouse architecture & data modeling
• Extensive experience in large scale enterprise data warehouse projects & best practices
• Must have a deep understanding of Ab Initio
• Must have EXCELLENT UNIX and SHELL SCRIPTING EXPERIENCE
• Experience with ETL tools such as Data Stage, Informatica, Ab Initio, and Teradata
• Experience with data analysis, modeling and design specific to a data warehouse/business intelligence environment
• Must have a deep understanding of overall data warehouse design principles and best practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong consulting skills
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
• Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and independently
• Must be open to travel
