* 7+ years continuous experience as a UNIX administrator in a SUN environment with installation / upgrade / production support of multiple servers
* 3+ years experience supporting Oracle RAC on Solaris
* Operating System Installation, Configuration and Patch Management
* EMC SAN Implementation and Management, NAS Server Experience
* TSM Backup / Recovery Software
* Security and Hardening to meet SOX Compliance, SAS 70 Standards
* Jumpstart and Flash installs
* Advanced Disaster Recovery Planning and Hands On Experience
* Fire Wall Planning and Implementation
* Mail, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SSH, VPN Service Implementation
* System audits and process documentation to ensure policy compliance
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well both individually and within a team environment, and interacting with both technical and non-technical individuals
* Knowledge of different storage platforms such as NAS / SAN, raid levels
* Experience with EMC technologies such as Replication Manager, SanCopy, Snapview
* Ability to work effectively in a demanding and fast-paced environment
* Solid Perl, Awk and Shell scripting experience
* Oracle technology experience (in addition to RAC support) a plus
