SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
Our client is a major player in the US securities lending industry for broker-dealers. The vast majority of Wall Street's biggest players utilize our client's services to book, record and account for securities lending activities.
Description:
The Senior Web Developer is responsible for performing all development activities, work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. He/she actively adapts to changing technology needs and frameworks to best serve the technical/business needs of the organization.
The Senior Web Developer will produce cross-browser, standards-compliant UI, data driven presentation code (HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, etc.) for the financial services industry that implements UI designs consistent with platform requirements.
Required Work Experience:
- MINIMUM three years experience developing complex, database driven web applications using ASP, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaSrcipt, CSS, XHTML, XML, Microsoft SQL, and AJAX.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008.
- Experience with JSON syntax of JavaScript is a plus.
- Background in developing both the business and presentation layers
- Skilled in building reusable components
- Able to produce, manage, and maintain extensive UI libraries and server-side patterns.
- Provide Technical inputs for technical and business proposals and design documentation

Required Skills:
- 5+ years software development, design and Modeling experience.
- 2+ years experience in .NET (C#) and web based software applications.
- Strong technical skills in ASP.NET.
- Strong technical skills coding with HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- Performance conscious for both high and low bandwidth environments
- Professional certifications a definite advantage.
- Great communication and consulting skills.
- The ability to thrive in small teams and independently
