Project Description
2-4 years experience in SharePoint specific design, development and maintenance for large clients with high volume access and 5-8 years overall IT experience.
Knowledge of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 (SPS), extensive knowledge of MOSS 07 including workflow and content management.
Intermediate to extensive Design experience for customizing SharePoint templates, style sheets and interfaces.
Experience with Information Architecture.
Microsoft Office System and its integration with SharePoint.
At least 4 years designing and implementing .Net solutions in a production environment using C# and VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML/XSL/XSD.
Use of Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 with Team Foundation Services, Visual SourceSafe, SourceVault or comparable tool.
Detailed understanding of the Common Language Runtime, component-oriented development, object-oriented development and the .Net object model.
Ability to generate technical documentation for end users, system engineers, and/or developers.
Ability to analyze, evaluate and solve problems of a difficult process or technical nature with strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills. Strong English language is a must.
Extensive client facing experience with a Customer Service & 'Can Do' attitude.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Role Description
Primary duties include supporting an evolving Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 environment serving a rapidly expanding global customer base, providing Quality Assurance on other developers' work, adhering to strong change management principles, and best practices in general.
This position will support the development of new code, remediation of existing code, migrating code to new platforms, and issues resolution, etc. It will also involve knowledge sharing with internal team members in the US and Europe, plus some internal clients regarding specific advanced Sharepoint features/functions.
In addition to Sharepoint knowledge, this position will require expertise in Sharepoint/MOSS application architecture, object oriented analysis / design, and technical implementation of custom applications, portals, and integrated solutions
