Our client, a leading IT company, is seeking to recruit a Java Developer to join their Donegal based team.
An Engineer is required to provide Development Team Leadership to a highly skilled team of Java developers within BMS. This role will be responsible for day-to-day team leadership, mentoring, code review, hands-on coding and much more.
Relevant experience of the software lifecycle having experience at all stages from design to installation will be required. The successful candidate will be analytical, capable of creative design and have the ability to motivate and assist in the development of the team.
This position would suit an experienced Java developer looking to broaden their experience to include team leadership and mentoring.
Experience and skills required
-- BS in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate proficiency at this level.
-- 4+ years software engineering/design experience or equivalent experience in an IT capacity
-- In the absence of a degree, appropriate certifications are required
-- Skilled in Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, JavaScript, Oracle, XML, SQL
-- It would be most desirable to have skills in web servers, UNIX, WebLogic, Spring and Hibernate.
