Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems - www.snipr.com/ultra-ats - is currently recruiting for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Product Innovation organization in Austin, TX. We are looking for an Engineer who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of real-time, advanced graphical software applications. He/she must work effectively in a collaborative, high performance team environment, working both within and across teams. Must demonstrate drive and innitiative, quality focus, and consistently deliver on commitements. Must collaborate effectively with others to develop innovative approaches and solutions, using creative problem solving skills to turn concepts into reality.
Minimum Requirements:
US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance required
3+ years of work experience in a C/C++ object oriented software development
Good understanding of computer architecture, and the relationships between applications
Development in Windows 2000/XP/Vista using Microsoft Visual Studio
Design and development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
Minimum education requirements are a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical field
Desired Requirements:
5-10 years of relevant system design, development and unit testing experience in C++
Object oriented software design and development for real-time systems
