Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a US Citizen to work on its client's customer (a federal agency) project (onsite) in Washington, DC for majority of the work 70-90%, for remaining portion, this resource is expected to work onsite in Ashburn, VA.

Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer (Voip expert)
Job Descrption:

We are looking for that very high level Systems Engineer who has some prior project management experience as well as strong experience implementing VoIP networks.


**Our client's customer is in need of a Systems Engineer type/minded person who knows who to integrate core systems, sub-systems, processes and applications. This person must be a VOIP expert and know how to integrate a VOIP network. Solid telecom experience is a must. Here's a short list of the type of skills the manager is looking for a candidate to have in order of priority:

*VOIP expert
**Telecom experience
**CS2100 (a plus to have but not a show stopper)

Someone with Avaya, Cisco or Nortel background would be ideal.

The items to integrate are listed below:

Nortel *
*CS2100 * Core telecom switch, replaces the DMS100
*UM2K * Voice Mail System * replaces the Octel 350 systems.
*NNS * Nortel Notification Suite, which replaces the existing Group Alert system. Used to send recorded voice notification calls to *CS2100 (both for local users and off-net destinations like Cell phones, pagers, PSTN).
*FCM * Flexible Call Manager * Scripting tool used to create Auto Attendant services.
*Contact Center * Call center management application. Provides ACD statistics, can also support skills based routing and ACD functionality.
*PVQM * Proactive Voice Quality Management: Provides Network Assessment/readiness for VoIP tools, with hardware probes can detect QOS score slips, generate alert and initiate diagnostics. Incorporates the NetIQ product.
*AG2000 * Nortel*s branded version of Citrix. Required for Zone Paging.
Finally, the qualified resource have solid experience

with VoIP, TCP/IP as well as thorough knowledge of the OSI Model.
