Our teams are hard at work on our next films, “Bolt,” directed by Chris Williams and Byron Howard, and “The Princess and the Frog,” directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and “Rapunzel,” directed by Glen Keane and Dean Wellins, and “King of the Elves,” directed by Aaron Blaise and Robert Walker.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Web Developer to join the team at our Burbank, CA studio.
The Infrastructure Web developer is a software development engineer with experience in web development for internal and external database applications including business analysis databases, production management databases, etc. The individual will be highly analytical, be able to rapidly prototype based on user needs and have experience evolving database structures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years experience in software development
* 2+ years experience with PHP and MySQL application development and 1+ year C++/Java application development experience
* Knowledge of different types of Open Source software and experience modifying them
* Good working knowledge of web technologies and trends including but not limited to UI Toolkits, Ajax, and various social web APIs
* Familiar with Linux, OS/X, Windows NT/2000/XP
* Excellent communication & customer service skills
Strongly Desired:
* Knowledge of Source Code Control (ClearCase, CVS, SCCS)
* Experience developing web based applications using one or
more of the following:
* Java
* Ruby on Rails
* Django
* Database SQL/ODBC/JDBC, MSSQL
Desired:
* Previous experience in an animation, visual effects or video game production environment
