Senior MAC Artist
The Creative Group currently has on-going opportunities for highly skilled Senior MAC Artists for both short-term and long-term project work with our clientele throughout Downtown Toronto. If you are innovative and have worked with an interactive or design agency, we want to hear from you today!
As a strong candidate for these contract opportunities as a Senior MAC Artist, you must have the following skill sets and experience:
- 5+ years experience;
- MacIntosh and PC (Windows) environment with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign;
- working knowledge of Mac OS X;
- ability to create physical comps and paper dummies for preliminary reviews;
- should possess some basic design sense;
- strong understanding of all phases of production, layout and design, including
- prepress file considerations and mechanical file preparation;
- fully understands image resolution issues and usage implications;
- fully understands different file and font formats and when to use them for print or web;
- experienced with file collection and pre-flighting for output;
- knowledge of 4-color and spot color printing process;
- detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and an eye for design and typography;
- proactive self-starter who can multitask and manage multiple projects while working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
