Web Designer
We have several on-going needs throughout the Downtown Toronto Area for Senior Level Web Designers. Opportunities are within both the agency and client side environments.
Specifically, our clients are looking for a designer who has advanced interface design understanding combined with strong user experience. The designer should have strong creative talent, yet always keeping in mind the usability, functionality and searchability of these client sites. Various websites will be quite involved with numerous micro sites that may include Flash Games, contests and consumer interactivity. The skill sets required for these roles include:
- a portfolio with live examples of websites you've worked on that give the audience a Wow! Reaction;
- understanding of Web 2.0 technologies;
- proficiency in Adobe CS3, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Macromedia Flash 8;
- experience with PHP, ASP, XML are all a plus;
- senior creative design skills;
- strong navigation and site design instincts;
- a strong attention to detail;
- knowledge of GIF Animation, JavaScript, and CSS;
- the ability to design and edit with website functionality in mind;
- experience in designing pay sites, banners, marketing materials and hosted galleries;
- a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- and the ability to work on multiple projects.
