Interactive Designer
A great agency located in Downtown Toronto, is in search of a freelance Interactive Designer.
As an Interactive Designer you will be responsible for all aspects of agency's production services within the online space. Artists should be familiar with all aspects of graphic arts production technology.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop new concepts for, or revise, interactive ads including, but not limited to, banners, landing pages and HTML email campaigns;
- Develop and design wireframes and some user interfaces for websites;
- Create design, layout and presentation materials;
- Prepare files for deployment;
- Follow established guidelines to ensure all content meets client/account team request;
- Communicate specs to account teams;
- Acquire photography/artwork, issue purchase orders for vendor-related work and provide assistance with photo art direction/retouching, photo manipulation and testing of all web graphics;
- Review final proofs, as needed;
- Perform various other creative department administrative responsibilities and support.
Requirements:
As a strong candidate for this opportunity as Interactive Designer, you have the following skill sets and experience:
- Degree in graphic design, fine art, visual communications, or related field;
- 2+ years of Agency experience is preferred;
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, HTML;
- Flash Action-Scripting and programming experience preferable.
