My top client is looking for the ideal candidate who has a proven track record of applying technical expertise and creativity to the challenges of a very rapidly expanding, customer-facing, 24/7 service.
This person would be responsible for handling issues related to growth and constantly changing requirements.
Experience & Requirements:
* Startup experience!
* 3- 5+ years experience supporting Linux systems in high volume, critical production service environments
* Experience implementing scalable network, database, and storage architectures
* Solid knowledge of advanced networking topics including isolating, diagnosing, and resolving issues with service delivery components .
* Experience working with network devices (servers, routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, hardware load balancers)
* Thorough knowledge of Web / Mail server administration & tuning
* Excellent SQL knowledge and database skills
* SNMP, Nagios, Cacti, etc. - (high-availability network monitoring)
* Efficient writing scripts to automate tasks and monitor systems
