· Ensure that proper methodologies are adopted and implemented to ensure that quality controls are in place for application hosting and operation
· Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems.
· Develop test, troubleshooting, and operational plans and procedures to ensure the integrity of applications and databases; including the creation of test platforms, evaluation of test equipment, and development of automated test suites for product regression and stress testing.
· Provide technical leadership during crisis and major incidents
· Provide support on technology capabilities, consulting services and architectural direction to project and development teams
· Participate in the design of end-to-end application architecture, ensuring best practices are implemented
· Proactively research and identify emerging and leading application architecture trends, products and capabilities
· Implement the necessary security procedures to ensure corporate information and communication integrity.
· Review, assess and address user needs; identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency; have a working knowledge of department-specific applications.
· Participate in IT Business Continuity Planning and recovery.
· Generate and recognize creative processes or solutions to work-related situations.
· Encourage ongoing teamwork in meetings, open dialogue, team challenges and informal collective experiences.


Qualifications & Experience

· Team leader.
· Familiarity and experience with Enterprise Application Interface architectural concepts and solutions, including synchronous and asynchronous messaging, web services and other inter-application enabling services
· Ability to identify root cause of problems and participate in resolution of issues
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Solid understanding of the .Net Framework
· Experience in supporting large Corporate Intranets/Internet sites
· Strong technical background with: .Net, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, XML
· Solid understanding of programming and application architecture constructs
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Self Starter with a high level of initiative
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
· Knowledge of common operating systems, networking, hardware, peripherals and applications
· Proven architectural background and technical writing skills.
