Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Applications Specialist is responsible for:
-Administration & Configuration for existing and new applications
-Application Development and Deployment
-Identify, define, and document requirements
-Develop applications and data structures
-Coding, Testing and Quality Assurance
-User Training
-Application Support and Continuation Management
-User and System Documentation
Key Skills:
MS Office Applications Programming (especially Excel, Access, VB/VBA, .NET, C++) Design & Programming Applications based on SQL Server
Experience in application deployment, especially for Electronic Document and Data Management Systems (EDMS/EDDMS)
Other relevant skills: -Web Application Programming -Familiarity with MS SharePoint and Citrix application deployment -Engineering Applications (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation) -Engineeing Office / Project Management Office / Document Management experience -Project Management skills
Experience and Qualifications:
This position requires Engineering Degree (Computer Science, Electrical) or Community College Degree (Computers) with up to 5 years relevant experience.
Other skills:
The candidate should posess strong technical skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communications skills to perform the full scope of this position.
