About Us:
We are a leading developer of Web-Native Freight Management and Warehouse Management systems to the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industries. We are currently looking for a Software Support / Application Developer to join our team in Fort Mill, SC
Software Support / Application Developer -- Level I
Responsibilities:
• First level support calls/e-mail for support of Web Freight Pro and providing quality assurance testing for new development and error corrections.
• Respond to customer issues, identifying and diagnosing the problem, debugging ASP and Java Script errors and fixing the problem when possible or escalating the problem to second level support when needed.
• Perform quality assurance testing to ensure new development or correction of existing development performs as expected without errors.
• Remote implementation of Web Freight Pro to the servers of new customers and handle maintenance updates to existing customers.
• Application development of minor changes requested by customers.
Requirements:
• Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience. Typically 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be able to analyze technical issues in an ASP based Web Application.
• Must be a self motivated problem solver with great interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Must understand what is required within Windows to install this type of application to a new server.
• An ideal candidate will have development experience on the Microsoft platform, using the following technologies: ASP, ASP.net, Java, Visual Basic and SQL. Experience with Microsoft's .net Framework and web development using ASP.net is a plus.
• While not all are required the candidate must be able to learn new technologies quickly. Qualified candidates will be tested on their programming abilities.
