Tasks
1) Administer Telecommunication Executions:-
a) Provides analytical technical support by coordinating with vendors and any and all appropriate HRA staff to resolve hardware/software compatibility problems.
b) Manages both the technical capabilities and has a clear understanding of both voice and data technologies and how these technologies can be merged effortlessly.
c) Coordinates the review, ordering, approval and implementation processes for telecommunications systems additions and changes for the direct roll out of VoIP technology for over 215 HRA accounts.
2) Essential Telecommunication Coordination and Report Preparation:-
a) Generates highly complex reports for Sr. and Executive Management regarding voice systems technologies, applications, programs and databases and their migration to the Agency's telecommunications environment.
b) Attends weekly meetings by coordinating all Model Offices, Job Centers, Paperless Office Systems [POS}, Restacking Projects, Relinquishment Projects and GSS Major Initiatives activities and reporting same to all relevant personnel.
(1) Ten (10) years of working knowledge of Telecommunications systems and a complete understanding of Enterprise Wide Area Network [EWAN] configuration.
(2) Six (6) years of experience in the following:
a) Experience in the integration of network technology in the following areas:
b) Fiber Optic and Copper CAT5 structured wiring systems.
c) Knowledge of legacy PBX systems and Voice over Internet Protocol [VoIP].in designing wide area networks.
(3) Four (4) years of experience in ability to prepare technical needs assessment and cost benefit analysis to identify and recommend proposed elimination of equipment or services for Agency cost savings.
(4) Four (4) years of experience in coordinating required equipment installations, disconnections, maintenance, upgrades and repairs with required technicians.
