Deliverables
Tasks
1) Process negotiable documents, Supervise/operate mail inserting machine:-
a) Verify quantity, documents date, and accompanying paperwork is correct.
b) Apply appropriate commission signature if required.
c) Process, sort, tray, documents and store in secure area.
2) Train Staff:-
a) Review work products of subordinates.
b) Evaluate sample of products/initiating/corrective action where indicated, in order to insure quality control.
3) Machine changeover and retooling techniques:-
a) Performs minor repair/adjustment .
b) Determination of malfunction, place service call with vendor.
c) Maintain log of system maintenance history.
4) Process letters:-
(a) Count determined and reconciled to machine controls.
(b) Machine set for optimumal performance.
(c) Letters sorted and trayed for postal pickup.
(1) Five (5) years of knowledge/experience in Pitney Bowes Flow Master Insertion systems.
(2) Two (2) years of training staff in all aspects of insertion machine operations including meter calibration, equipment diagnostics and prevention maintenance.
(3) Excellent knowledge of Postal rules and Regulations
(4) Superior planning and coordinating ability.
(5) Knowledge of Bell Nd Howell JetVision systems.
(6) Knowledge of Mail Run Data Files (MRDF) PC based direct connect machine control systems and file based processing.
