The windows virtualization group is looking for Software Development Engineers for the virtualization development team.
Virtualization is emerging as a core bet across the industry to enable scenarios such as server consolidation, business continuity, and deployment/testing of complex applications and solutions. The hypervisor (Hyper-V FAQ) (Virtualization and Server Consolidation) is the core, lowest level “kernel” for Microsoft's virtualization solution.
. A successful candidate will have excellent C/C++ coding skills, experience writing device-drivers , and excellent debugging skills, Good knowledge of the x86 architectures, with a particular focus on system programming. as well as experience in operating system internals and kernel debugging is a plus. Prior experience with hardware virtualization systems, virtual machines and system level security enhancement products would be highly desirable. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience writing solid C/C++ code. Virtualization is desired only.
