We have client with the following permanent position:
SAP FI/CO ERP Manager
Provides formalized, continuing work direction, and leadership to ECC 6.0 FICO team personnel to ensure timely and effective project execution. Responsible for employee development, employee evaluations, coaching, and ongoing performance management. Plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas.
We are looking for a hands-on FI/CO ERP Manager who is a self starter, works well on a team, and has excellent communications skills. The position will include: Managing all ECC 6.0 FI/CO Development by providing day to day planning, coordination, project management; Working with business representatives or liaisons to define business needs and functional requirements; Creating project estimates for new development and potential acquisitions; Creating project plans and managing work for acquisitions and large projects that will includes working with the business units to gather requirements, coordinate testing and perform change management / training; Configuring / testing new functionality and cross train other FI/CO functional support staff; and Interfacing with the business representative Steering Committee and/or liaisons to prioritize work and provide project status updates.
Provides technical direction on projects to department or project participants. Provides formalized, continuing work direction, and leadership to more junior FI/CO team personnel to ensure timely and effective project execution. Takes a lead role in assisting with direction, planning, and the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas. Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of new development and/or technology pertaining to project(s). Monitors and recommends changes for improvement. The position will include interacting with a team of business representatives or liaisons to gather requirements, prioritize work, develop enhancements to the existing system, coordinate testing, and perform change management / training for R/3.
Qualifications:
Five to eight years of experience and an advanced degree, or the equivalent and in-depth knowledge in area of specialty.
The individual must have at least 4 ERP Implementations in the financial areas and have a strong accounting and finance background.
Individual should possess extensive experience in both the Financials and Controlling areas of R/3.
The candidate must also have extensive configuration experience in supporting existing SAP Systems (4.7 or ECC 6.0) for at least 3 years.
A CPA and / or MBA is a plus.
Additionally, the following technical experience is required/desired:
a. 4 or more years of experience in a majority of the following R/3 area is required: FI-GL, PCA, CCA, TR/Banks, AP, AR, SPL, Workflow, TM, ECCS (highly desired), PS, & AM
b. Experience in supporting interfaces/EDI
c. Experience working in a multi-currency environment is desired
d. Experience in working in an ECC 6.0 environment is desired
