Citrix Administrator
Project Length: 13 months
Project Location: Lewisville, TX
Responsibilities:
• Intermediate Citrix support experience with large scale deployments (1000+ subscribers)
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and network administration.
• Intermediate knowledge of Batch and VB scripting language for automating administrative tasks.
• Intermediate knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server Technologies.
• Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 or greater
• Citrix Web Interface
• Citrix Secure Gateway
• Citrix XML Broker
• Zone Data Collector
• Farm Data Store
• Resource Manager Summary Database
• Citrix Licensing
• Citrix Printing Methodologies
• Citrix ICA Clients
• Citrix Zone architecture and failover design
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Terminal Server Technologies.
• Windows Terminal Services 2003 or greater
• Windows Terminal Server Licensing
• Windows Terminal Server-specific Active Directory Group Policy Objects
• Windows Profiles (Local, Roaming, Mandatory, Hybrid/Flex)
• Windows Logon Scripts
• Windows Installer & MSI packaging
• Windows Registry
• Windows NTFS file system

• Windows Security
Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting techniques
• Use of Windows Performance Monitor and Event Log to detect application and infrastructure issues.
• Use of Filemon, Regmon, Process Monitor, to isolate file system and registry conflicts.
• Use of TCPView, WireShark to isolate WAN or LAN connection issues
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ Years IT experience
• 2+ Years Citrix experience
• Citrix and Microsoft Certification
• Knowledge of Citrix 4.5 Enterprise Edition on 2003 R2 SP2
• Knowledge of Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Edition
• Knowledge of Citrix XEN Desktop
• Knowledge of Citrix XEN Server
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong ability to work with 3rd party software vendors and service providers
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure concepts
o Microsoft Operating system configuration (Registry, Active Directory, IIS, MSMQ, Com+, DCom, .NET)
o Networks (hardware load balancers, firewalls, network protocols, network standards, use of various other devices)
o Databases (SQL queries, basic storage concepts).
o Basic knowledge of interactions between systems, layers, protocols and devices in the overall infrastructure.
