POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Provide Macintosh desktop technical support and troubleshooting to internal clients in Boston and Wilmington locations.
Monitor Remedy ticketing queue to ensure customer requests are addressed in a timely manner
* Document all troubleshooting in Remedy tickets.
. Inform customers of any unusual delays in the resolution of his/her call.
. Keep current on technical related issues as it relates to the hardware and software used in our environment.
* No supervision of others. Heavy interaction with both internal clients and peers within department.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Required: Macintosh troubleshooting experience with OSX operating systems and related Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes, and connectivity software (dial-up, broadband, wireless, etc.). Basic understanding of networking is required.
Preferred: Hands-on installation and troubleshooting experience with the software and hardware mentioned.
Required: Strong organization, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1-2 years MAC Desktop Support experience
Preferred: BS or related work experience
