Design, develop, document and execute test cases to effectively evaluate software quality and the overall end-user experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Writes and updates test plans, test design specifications, test cases and test scripts based on feature requirements and execution of test cases

Communicating test activities, issues, and results to development team and management team throughout the software development lifecycle


Supports all test phase activities, execute manual and automated test scripts, records and track software discrepancies.

Works with software engineers and other engineering / manufacturing functions to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality.

Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

EDUCATION:

B.S. degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.


Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in progress programming in C, C++, OOD. Must have working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Must be familiar with NT, UNIX, or Windows environments.

Working knowledge of Microsoft products as Windows server 2003, SQL server and network, and electronic tools and software release. Experience in gaming industry is desired.
