Excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer in Canada.
• The Consultant will work to develop and support enterprise-wide SAP solutions.
. Specific modules will be PP, SD, MM, EDI.
• Consultant will be responsible for assessing client and end user needs through project participation and support activities.
Required Skills:
• Understands general software development lifecycles and uses defined methodology to design, develop, test and implement solutions.
• Ability to apply advanced programming techniques to architect and design system solutions when presented with complex business problems.
• Probes to identify problem details and documents resolutions into change management system.
• Recognizes, researches, and/or isolates problems, provides resolution and follows up.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, completing technical specifications and programming/configuration requirements.
• Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis / Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles.
• Ability to work within a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate technical issues and concepts clearly, both orally and written. Communication with non-technical people is necessary.
Must be fluent in the English language.
• ABAP, Smartforms, SAPScript, Workflow
Deliverables:
• Understand current interfaces
• Confirm requirements with business
• Test interfaces -
• Document interfaces for technical support and business support
• Use Change Management process
• Confirm interfaces are working as expected and obtain sign off from business -
• Submit weekly report regarding specific activities performed and completed
