The Sci Fi Channel digital media department, SCIFI.COM, is looking for a HTML Coder who can work with a team of designers, editors and project managers to code sites within the network and assist in site development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
- Primary responsibility is to take completed designs and turn them into coded Web pages, and to maintain and modify pages as needed
- Develop and maintain file structure of sites
- Develop site-wide coding guidelines
- Research and evangelize new coding techniques and technologies
- Basic manipulation and maintenance of Flash files
- Basic Javascripting, PHP and form creation
- Cross browser/platform and ad banner QA
- Participate in brainstorming for site development
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years experience primarily hand-coding and manipulating HTML, PHP and XML files
- Minimum 3 years experience with DHTML, Flash, RSS, XML, CSS and rich media content
- BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experiences
