We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. He/she will play a major role in the development of a completely new Internet Protocol (IP) quality of service device tailored to U.S. DoD applications, including design, implementation and test. Salary Range $85k -- $106k plus 2% to 5% bonus based on achievement of company financial and development project objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years experience in embedded C/C++ software development for switch, router or other network equipment
• Knowledge of networking protocols: Ethernet bridging, VLAN, TCP/IP protocols; IPv4 and/or IPv6 Routing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• US citizenship or green card or H-1 visa sponsored by Contracting firm
At least two of the following:
• Linux software development experience, for 32/64-bit embedded processors
• Knowledge of network and computer security concepts
• Experience in developing software for Ethernet switch or network processor chips
• Experience in developing QoS/DiffServ software
