Our client is a leader in providing solutions-based information technology services to the Department of Defense (DoD), and we are currently seeking experienced Java/J2EE Engineers with Web Services experience to join our Applied Technology Group (ATG).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major; will consider equivalent business experience
• Solid J2EE development experience (Java, Servlets, JSP), plus proficiency in one of the following: EJB, Hibernate, Ibatis, or another persistence framework, AND JBoss (preferred), WebLogic, WebSphere, or other application server
• Basic knowledge and proficiency of Web Services/ SOAP/ HTTP
• Prior experience with Java 1.5+ Annotations and JAX-WS for Web Service development
• Knowledge of XML/Java Binding frameworks such as JAXB, XMLBeans, etc.
• Strong background in troubleshooting JavaScript, SOAP communications and HTTP communication; competence with Object Oriented Programming
• Working knowledge of AJAX/ JavaScript/ HTML
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS (preference for Oracle)
• Basic Unix skills
• Familiarity with PKI would be helpful
• U.S. DoD “Secret” security clearance or the ability to obtain one by way of background check
