Our client is a successful proprietary trading based in Chicago who is looking to add a C++ Developer experienced in developing C++/FIX applications to streamline the ability of electronic trading software to connect to the major exchanges in Chicago and worldwide. The candidate will be responsible for hands-on development of market connectivity interfaces and client/server applications written in C++ and FIX - facilitating order routing and market data connectivity.
- 5 years developing in C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment
- minimum of 3 years developing multithreaded, real time trading systems
- direct exposure to an Agile Development environment
- FIX/QuickFIX experience
- Experience with client/server architectures
- UNIX, shell scripting
- Relational databases/SQL
- Degree in CS/EE or related is a must have
