Responsibilities include: Install WebSphere Server and Deployment Manager Configure or modify application content Optimize, tune, and troubleshoot WebSphere and the applications.
Mandatory skill requirements are as follows:
• Support production based problems/incidents
• Migrating/integrating WebSphere products
• Web infrastructure build and deployment experience (4 years)
• Working knowledge of production web hosting environments is required
• Strong knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS
• WebSphere system administration (4 years)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of other Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, SNMP)
• Experience in Implementing Single Sign-on Security using LDAP as the user registry with WebSphere.
Knowledge of scripting languages would be plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
