Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in writing shell/Perl scripts and VB script
Demonstrated experience in Unix (HPUX desired) and Windows 2000 server
Demonstrated experience HP Open View, and Oracle OEM tools
Demonstrated experience with VMware
Demonstrated knowledge of basic network and security
Demonstrated experience in large scale complex server environments
Demonstrated strong system analysis skills
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem resolution
Demonstrated experience in Windows 2000, 2003 Windows XP and Vista
Demonstrated experience working with systems hardware components.
Demonstrated experience developing configurations and images with Ghost
Demonstrated experience supporting mobile computers and wireless networks
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem resolution
Work Activities
Test, build, update and maintain master images for mobiles and workstations
Upload master images for testing & signoff with organizations.
Create and maintain image documentation and process.
Coordinate content management if images (workstation and mobile)
Coordination of mobile deployments and training of using department tech staff
Field troubleshooting & testing
Hardware rollouts & upgrades of workstations and servers.
Windows Server and Client Patching
Troubleshoot server-side issues
