Let your creative side shine! We have several 6 month contract positions available (potential to extend) in the Arlington, TX area (near DFW Airport) for solid CSS Developers / Graphic Designers. Qualified individuals will work on several phases of the software development life-cycle, and will be personally responsible for front--end application appearance and functionality.
DUTIES:
1. Gathering requirements based on specifications.
2. Designing interfaces, writing code, and performing compliance testing.
3. Technical documentation, maintenance and some user support.
4. Ability to handle all aspects of web as well as the occasional printed design piece.
REQUIRED:
1. Hand-coding of CSS, HTML, XHTML and JavaScript.
2. Knowledge of web standards.
3. Practice clean coding and documentation.
4. Experience with cross-browser (PC and Mac) and accessibility development.
5. Familiar with Photoshop and / or DreamWeaver.
6. Experience with E- Commerce.
7. Ability to work on multiple tasks in a busy environment.
8. Skilled at building table free layouts using semantic markup and CSS.
9. Strong command of cross-browser development techniques.
10. Experience with browser degradation strategies and design experience.
11. Familiar with ASP.NET, AJAX, and Content Management Systems.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in web technologies, communications, or a related field.
