SUMMARY:
Extreme Technologies, Inc. is currently looking for a candidate who has the ability to work as the sole ETL Developer for a large, highly visible project. This person should fully understand Informatica and ETL data movement, and be able to produce quality results on his/her own.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Handles a variety of development tasks including participation in design sessions, developing and implementing detailed code to department standards, and unit testing.
· Handles general support duties including defect resolution and moderate enhancement work orders after signoff by senior technical lead.
· Interacts with business users and systems operations team as part of the support work for error resolution and enhancement design.

· Ability to learn rapidly and to apply formal training to new software environments.
· Ability to effectively handle multiple concurrent tasks.
· Solid understanding of common business software and common business platforms.
· Ability to interact with business users on technical details for an assignment.
· Strong oral/written communication skills.
Education and/or Experience:
· 4+ years in Oracle development, preferably in a large enterprise database environment.
· 2+ years Informatica experience creating mappings/processes.
· BA/BS or equivalent work experience required.
· Experience working in a team development environment.
· Previous experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.
· Experience in larger company environments will be helpful.
· Solid experience creating mappings for batch, Change Data Capture, and Web Services.
· Solid experience in ETL and Data Warehousing methods and technologies.
Experience with:
o Informatica performance tuning
o PL/SQL
o Query tuning
o Evaluating Oracle explain plans
o Stored Procedures, Functions and Packages
Soft Skills:
· Able to work independently and with team members (brainstorming, team building activities, etc)
· Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisor and management, using clear, user-friendly terminology (email, phone, meetings)
· Ability to learn and adhere to department standards for design, development and quality control
· Ability to self-manage time and task priorities to meet project timelines, and identify potential project risks
· Ability to recognize the need for improvement in existing processes /applications and present via solutions to the team
· Able to handle multiple work related tasks
· Able to take ownership and follow through with tasks until completion
· The ability to work on projects and maintenance tasks
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Bilingual considered a minor plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
· Ability to perform complex calculations using standard desktop PC tools is required.
REASONING ABILITY:
· Ability to use an organized, systematic approach in handling complex tasks is required.
