We are currently seeking talented Sr. Compliance Analyst for our San Antonio, TX facility.
As a Sr. Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for managing cross functional coordination of business changes in response to compliance related requirements. Ensures processes and programs are in place to support enterprise compliance.
Job duties:
- Reviews implementation planning for new laws and regulations to determine sufficiency and timeliness of response and whether all appropriate parties across the Enterprise have been engaged.
- Conducts liaison with change management agents in the business to identify opportunities for new, integrated approaches to compliance management.
- Participates as Enterprise Compliance liaison for highly complex projects affecting multiple lines of businesses. Identifies potential compliance issues and coordinates follow on action with appropriate Compliance Subject Matter Experts.
- Reviews responses to regulatory inquiries/ exams for opportunities for process improvements. Leads COE efforts to improve standardization and efficiency of responses to regulators.
- Develops strategic risk assessment of compliance program from self-assessment results. Presents conclusions and recommendations to COE management.
Qualified candidates need to possess:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience as a subject matter expert in financial services regulation, compliance, or program management/auditing (or comparable work experience) involving 2 or more regulatory areas.
- Proficient in a various data reporting, retrieval, and analysis tools such as Crystal Reports and MS Excel.
Preferred experience includes:
- 3-5 years experience with investment adviser compliance.
- Familiar with sales and operational management of investment adviser wrap products.
- In-depth knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and associated rules.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiar with project management methodologies.
