RF Electrical Engineering Generalist
We are currently seeking an RF Electrical Engineer for an immediate start in Raleigh, NC. The Engineering Generalist will work with R&D teams to support product launches and correct issues once the product is deployed. Our global customer has been leading their industry for over 100 years and they only hire the BEST of the BEST!
Responsibilities:
• Design, documentation, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic products and other hardware and software systems for hi-tech utility industry
• Work with the design engineering team on projects, assisting with design calculations, analog and digital circuit design and PCB schematic/layouts
• Program and test firmware using C and assembly for embedded systems
• Assist Quality Assurance and Marketing groups in investigating and analyzing defective products
• Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting manufacturing issues
• Assist sales managers and marketing in making recommendations for product solutions
• Interface with various third-party companies on the integration of their technology with our customers award winning portfolio of products
• Ensure all of aspects of electronic design and development including schedule adherence, cost, performance and quality
Demonstrated expertise:
• BSEE required
• Proficiency with firmware programming using C, assembly
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry
• Testing and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and team-player skills
Pluses:
• Visual Basic for software testing is a plus
• Experience with developing a commercialized, high-volume product a plus
• Experience with RF and Battery powered devices is a huge plus
