One of our esteem clients looking for Senior Architect Position for their ODC in Bangalore.
Requirements:
10+ years of Experience with designing and architecting Java/J2EE based distributed applications, with at least 3+ years of pure architecting role. Should have successfully architected 2 enterprise grade products. Should be able to provide technical directions and mentoring to the team. Should be familiar with product development and release aspects. Should be proficient with modeling, UML/OOP concepts, GoF and J2EE design patterns, J2EE frameworks. Should be conversant with clustered environment and designing a J2EE application for clustered environment. Exposure to Database and data architecting is a bonus.
Knowledge of Spring is a must
Managerial :
No people management, but should be able to work closely with multiple development teams and technical leads.
Role :
• Owns technical architecture, assessment and evaluation for multiple product lines in Java/J2EE environment.
• Work with Product owners and technology experts to understand the business and technical requirements.
• Come up with technical architecture for the new or existing product using the latest stable technology
• Evaluate the existing product and technology and suggest any changes to help improve the product quality and reliability
• Assist development teams with design and product architecture
• Review proposed solutions from product development
• Work with other senior technology leaders to propose technical solutions and help craft architecture & technology roadmap
• Work in SCRUM development environment, with deliverables in every sprint (2 weeks). Work as a shared resource for multiple SCRUM teams.
• Do code reviews to evaluate the code for bugs, architecture violations, and potential issues with performance, scalability and reliability.
• Technically mentor the team and coach aspiring architects.
• Interface with client and NESS mgmt
• Help analyze and resolve problems reported from customers
• Hands on in developing POC's for the proposed architecture, and demoing them to a technically demanding onsite team.
