Minimum of ten (10) or more years of Information Technology work
experience,
eight (8) years of which must be experience working with the Oracle
Financials system supporting Oracle Financials interfaces and performing
Oracle Financials customization.
Three (3) years of this experience must have been acquired through work OR
a combination of work and relevant formal training and/or education with
Oracle 11.5.9 or higher.
Leading the development and support activities associated with software development,
software testing and quality assurance programs;
• Leading the development and support activities associated with the
• technical architecture, design and implementation of solutions;
• Identifying, documenting issues and providing recommendations
• regarding the functionality of solutions in the context of future Oracle Financials v12 upgrade;
• Developing, documenting and unit testing according to standards, changes or
• enhancements to solutions necessary to meet revised technical or functional requirement
specifications;
• Delivering quality tested customization releases or maintenance packages and related supporting
documentation according to standards;
• Providing recommendations to improve the functioning of solutions in support of its primary
• objectives of improving the portability and commonality of the software between government
departments;
• Leading the development and management of the quality assurance program, ensuring that
documentation and training standards are maintained at a high level;
• Liaising with the technical, functional and Departmental team
• leaders to ensure that the business requirements are being met by the enhancements or upgrades;
• Leading the production level support and maintenance activities with respect to the solutions provided to participating areas;
• Providing recommendations regarding streamlining software development, testing and delivery processes;
• Preparation of implementation plans for new releases and specific technologies
