Providing development and support services to the software development and software testing
teams;
Assisting in activities associated with the technical architecture, design and implementation of solutions;
Identifying and documenting issues to ensure that new and existing customized software
processes perform correctly in the various supported Oracle environments;
Developing, documenting and performing unit testing according to standards, supporting
changes or enhancements to solutions to meet technical or functional requirement
specifications;
• Delivering quality tested customization releases or maintenance
• packages and related supporting documentation according to standards;
• Liaising with technical, functional and Departmental representatives to ensure that the business
• requirements are being met by the enhancements or upgrades;
• Assisting with the production level support and maintenance of software provided to the participating areas;
• Assisting in streamlining software development and delivery processes;
• Assisting in developing the documentation and/or training related to the software created or modified;
• Designing and documenting system components, interfaces and the operational environment;
• Designing data structures and files, subsystems and modules,
• programs, batch, on line and production;
• Monitoring procedures, testing strategies, and systems;
• Identification and documentation of system specific standards regarding programming
• documentation, testing, programs, libraries, data dictionaries, and naming conventions;
• Implementation of quality assurance standards regarding implementation;
• Designing programs and documentation of modules and procedures;
• Installation, maintenance and operation of elements of the supported systems;
• Introduction of operating releases to the supported systems;
• Setting up and operating user help facilities, configuration
• control, and other operational logs;
• Configuring and optimizing technical installations;
seven (7) years of Information Technology work experience ,
five (5) years of which must be experience working with the Oracle
Financials system supporting Oracle Financials interfaces and performing
Oracle Financials customization.
Two (2) years of this experience with Oracle 11.5.9 or higher.
Five (5) years of which must be experience in working with PL/ SQL Coding;
Five (5) years of which must be experience in working as a Programmer
Analyst working with Oracle Developer 6i or higher for reporting and forms
development;
Five (5) years of which must be experience in developing customization for
Oracle Financials systems.
