The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for the Company's Platform project. The lead BA will provide direction and support to other business analysts supporting this project.
Experience with Payment, Clearing, Settlement, Accounting, Electronic Funds Transfer/ACH system experience or other financial systems
• Create queries using SQL
• Strong testing experience needed in order to lead/direct testing activities
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibility
Assess and analyze the needs of the project
Define an approach that identifies the categories of analysis required
Define high level steps to accomplish the analysis
Define breakdown of tasks that can be shared across project BA's
Set the project vision
Review project requirements and verify they have been documented to date and identify any gaps. Document missing requirements.
Perform detailed data analysis of contracts and map data required.
Work with all teams including technical, legal, acct/finance to ensure designs and requirements are in sync
Assist in identifying gaps
Review and inspect requirements
Provide mentoring, training to other BA's
Participate & provide recommendations for organizational & process changes that may be required to support the new settlement platform
Define and develop a new on-boarding process standardization
