Responsibilities
1.Six or more years' experience, including at least four years as a database admin.
2.Strong knowledge of, and experience with, Oracle 10g (required)
3.Knowledge of high-availability concepts in Oracle 10g
4.Database replication utilities (e.g. Shareplex, Oracle Dataguard, Lumigent).
5.Database development (using PL/SQL) -- required. Must be proficient at developing PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
6.Shell scripting (using ksh) -- required.
7.Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts is required.
8.Database replication utilities (e.g. Shareplex, Oracle Dataguard, Lumigent) -- required.
9.ETL utilities (using PL/SQL) -- required.
10.Oracle deployment on Unix (Solaris) / Linux (Redhat), SQL on Windows (Windows 2003).
11.Ability to design ER diagrams and algorithms to be implemented using 4 GL -- required.
