Main Duties
The scope of the developer role involves working in a group deployed globally. Focus is on developing microsoft applications for Equity Research Business.
The candidate should be able to create design documents. Should be geared towards leveraging the existing framework. Be a hands-on developer in the Construction phase. Participate in the System Integration Test phase.
Special Circumstances (eg shifts, travel overseas, hours):
Would require to travel to Sydney and work late/early sometimes to overlap with other regions

•Total of 6-8 years of experience out of which 5 years experience in application development in Financial Industry
•Object Oriented Design
•Hands on coding
•MS Excel VBA and .Net
•MS Visual Studio 2005
•VB.Net 2.0
•XML
Desirable
•Experience with Equity Research
•Java
•MS Word VBA and .Net
•APS.Net 2.0
•Sybase/SQLServer (developing applications that use Sybase/SQLServer databases)
Technical/ Business skills & knowledge:
Essential
•VB.Net 2.0 (4yrs+)
